I am a fully licensed psychologist in addition to being a nationally certified school psychologist. In 2010 I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Women, Gender, and Social Justice from Michigan State University. I went on to earn by Master’s degree, advanced graduate degree, and Ph.D. (2018) from Wayne State University. I have more than ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families within the school, home, and clinical settings. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to best meet the needs of my clients and I am also a trained EMDR therapist. I have experience working with individuals with a wide range of mental illnesses.

I have experience working with all ages as I taught first grade for 4 years, worked as a substance abuse counselor for 2 years and work as a school social worker for the last 3 years while doing therapy. I’m currently in school for my PhD in social work with a focus in impact leadership and social work administration.
