Stefanie Scalcucci, Ph.D.

I am a doctoral level limited licensed psychologist, in addition to being a nationally certified school psychologist. In 2010 I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Women, Gender, and Social Justice from Michigan State University. I went on to earn by Master’s degree, advanced graduate degree, and Ph.D. (2018) from Wayne State University. I have nine years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families within the school, home, and clinical settings. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to best meet the needs of my clients. In particular, I often incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered planning, and mindfulness techniques into my work. I have experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), cognitive impairments, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, PTSD, co-occurring disorders, and other mental illnesses. Hello! I am Monique Giannetti, a licensed clinical social worker. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, specializing in Interpersonal Practice, from the University of Michigan in 2013. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families on a variety of subjects including depression/anxiety, stress, motivation/self-esteem/confidence, anger management, Autism, behavior management, and focus. I have worked in schools, domestic violence shelters, and provided individual therapy.

Hello! My name is Mary Mattei. I am a licensed clinical social worker who has worked with youth and families in intensive outpatient therapy, home-based, and school settings. I received my master’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2017 and have experience supporting individuals who are managing anxiety, mood-based disorders, and life transitions. I take a relationship-based and trauma-informed approach to treatment and hope to create a welcoming and inclusive space for those I meet.

I have experience in working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities with an emphasis on behavior management. Furthermore, I have experience in working within the field of Department of Health and Human Services in which I serviced children, adolescents, adults, and families with varying needs. Within my clinical practice, I intend to focus on building a strong therapeutic rapport in order to cultivate a welcoming and safe place for clients to reflect, heal, and grow.

I have experience working with all ages as I taught first grade for 4 years, worked as a substance abuse counselor for 2 years and work as a school social worker for the last 3 years while doing therapy. I’m currently in school for my PhD in social work with a focus in impact leadership and social work administration. As a therapist I vow to provide a safe therapeutic space that will allow my clients the freedom to not only be their self but the freedom to discuss their issues in a nonjudgmental environment.
